Message	A local guy put 10" fronts on the car and also seemed to know the consequences. As such, he had adjusted a few things to make it fit and under normal driving it seemed okay. It wasn't until he drove it for a few weeks and he seemed to think it was a combination of hard turns and driveways that rubbed enough to damage the tire edge. I don't exactly know what he did to "modify" things in there so I'm not much help to you but if you can last a few weeks with that config, that's awesome.
